Highlands, Texas Ghost Tales | |

I live in Highlands and I have been to First United Methodist church with my friends Daniel, Logan, Conner, and my brother Zach. Daniel is my age, and the others are little. It was about eleven at night. We were supposed to have the annual cub scout sleepover. But no one stayed except the five of us and our parents. We went out at about eleven-thirty P.M. It was surprisingly dark. We just walked around the church and then we got to the chapel(outside, the door was locked). We saw an apparition which looked like a young lady laughing. We simply just walked closer and she ran behind the church playground. We ran after her(we weren't really scared of any paranormal activity, we didn't even believe it either.) We saw her swinging on a swing. We all blinked, and she was gone. We then saw a figure with blood streaming down his neck(like he had been bitten by a vampire). We freaked and sprinted into the church. We looked out and there was nothing there. So we thought we were crazy so we went back out. It appeared again and luckily I had my DSi out.

I snapped a pic and it made that usual shutter noise(The volume was off). If you have a DSi you know what the sound is. It makes it even when the volume is totally off. All of us saw it flash and I looked at the pic I took but it was just jet black. My friend Daniel has also agreed to the sightings also.

While the sun is shining Highlands, Texas is your average American city, but if you are easily scared, you'd best keep your distance to this place during the night time. Things happen in this town that cannot be explained by science. Folks who have never stayed a day in this municipality will let you know it's untrue, but the things that happen here in Highlands during the night will give you a good scare.

the guts to disrupt the peace in Highlands. In any case, it's a menacing spirit that should be let alone.
