Houston, Texas Ghost Sightings - PAGE 2
(...continued from the previous page)|
You don't need to give me details or anything. I will figure this out on my own. I have already sent an email to the civic association. I am the middle sister (Sponheimer) who originally (I believe) lived in this house.
This is my birth family.

It was back in 2002 I was about 8 years old. I lived near the downtown area, Ship Channel area near Central Park. I'll never forget that one creepy house at the corner. My streets intersect at the near end of two railroads crossings, so it's a dead end. I lived in the middle and never experienced anything until one day the old lady in the corner died. It was so sudden. She was a healthy 70 something old.
Fast forward three years later, in 2005 I and the local kids found out back in the mid 1990s her husband died. After that she would walk onto the intersection of the railroads dead end and stand there for hours. Nobody noticed her until my neighbor who had an early shift found her one late night around 3:30 am. He went close to her and asked her if she was okay. She turned around and looked so pale. She was laughing saying ''yes, my son. '' He could never get that look out his face from the terror of her face looking so scary.
Now I've heard people say when they come home late and look out that way, they see the creepy old lady standing there as she did when she was alive.

I was at a Megadeth/Fear Factory show at Bayou Place and a electric table candle was thrown at my head. Of course no one else saw it but a staff person I asked ''Is this place haunted?'' laughed and said ''Yeah, what'd You see?'' The property manager I phoned said employees tell him weird stories all the time before they quit. I was the first person to contact him about an experience during an ongoing performance. That only freaked me out more. .
