Humble, Texas Ghost Tales | |
|
I've lived in the Humble/Atasocita area all my life. I believe that there is a ghost in my house. My husband and I purchased our new home in 2001 and things have been happening in the house over since then. For a while our TV would turn on & off, I've heard footsteps many times going up & down our stair case. But the craziest thing is that my kids and I would always hear someone whistling a song. My hubby thought we were paranoid until finally one day when the whistling was going on he walked in the door and heard it, and he asked me ''who is whistling?'' I live a few hundred feet from Lake Houston, which is a man made lake due to the widening of the San Jacinto River. I've done some research of the area and Atascocita used to be one of the most traveled trade routes in TX. Also there were Native Indians in the area, my cousins who are now in there late 50's used to find arrow heads while they would be playing outside. Submitted by Maria Categories: home, sounds

years, never experienced anything abnormal. Went to Elementary school that wasn't haunted, watched movies in the cinema that wasn't haunted, ate Domino's pizza from the not haunted pizza shop across from the old negro cemetery. Fished on the banks of the San Jacinto river and Lake Houston, never saw anything supernatural. Went to Middle School and

High Schools that weren't haunted. Used to go drink on continental plaza, never saw anything but mosquitoes. Tried a Ouija board with friends once, never experienced anything. If you hear voices I suggest you get yourself checked. Humble's just a small train stop town build on a swamp on the way out of Houston. Pay little attention to the legends of Haunted slave graveyards, or lynching's or Indian burial grounds, non of them are haunted. Submitted by Chris Category: home
I moved to Humble in 2005, in Kenswick Forest on Villander Lane, my sister was over one day and looked out my back window and seen a very ugly disfigured face staring at her. She closed her eyes and then opened them and the figure was still looking at her. Two years later I start hearing footsteps in my attic and sometimes something hits me and I wake up instantly. It's so much that has happened it is too much to bare. For instance, during the storm IKE. I was sleeping and woke to see a man with a hat on trying got scoot

me over in the bed with me and I started to pray. I'm ready to move out of this hunted community because now I see spiders all in the yard crawling which is a sign that this a burial ground. Submitted by The g girl Categories: home, face
