Huntsville, Texas Ghost Tales    This was taken in the historic cemetery in Huntsville,TX. . - Ghost picture submitted by Daniele BIGGER SIZE PICTURE HERE       Category: cemetery My dad has a place just north of Huntsville in Crabbs Prairre. When I was about 14 or 15 years old, something woke me up in the middle of the night. As I walked across the living room, I heard the distinct sound of drinking glasses tinkering in the kitchen. My dad and I were the only two that lived there and after walking through the house, no one was there. My grandmother had recently passed and was known to spend the majority of her time in the kitchen. It didn't cross my mind back then, but looking back I think it was probably her. Anyway, I do recall nights when it would feel like someone was there with me but I was the only one there. I know it's not a lot, but we're talking about something that was around 30 or 35 years ago. Submitted by Bill       Category: store My dad has a house       on Bowden Rd. and I have seen some odd things to say the least. Nothing as dramatic as the other stories I've read.  I've seen weird lights in the sky, heard what sounded like screaming out in the woods. My dad on the other hands says that he's seen what he calls ''shadow people''. He says that they look like someone took a pair of scissors and cut   a hole in the fabric of reality in the shape of a person.  He's seen them in this house and walking down the road.  I've seen enough so that I don't want to visit often.  I know it makes me sound like a jerk because I don't see my dad as often as I could because his place gives me a serious case of the whim-whams. Whatever... Submitted by Stephanie       Categories: home, shadows My friend and I went to visit Demon Road. We were probably no more than a few hundred feet away, wen my friend got really dizzy. She kept telling me to slow the car down, but by then, I had already stopped the car. She told me the place had a bad aura and that we needed to get out now. So we did. We went back to her apartment and went to the grocery store to get some food. As we walked back, something like a shadow moved acroos the outside staircase and slid up the door to her place. Then it disappeared. There was no moon, and there were no street lights on around there. I asked her if she had seen anything, and she told me she did. When we got inside, we noticed the living room light had gotten dimmer. My friend is an herbalist, so we burned some white sage and said a prayer together. As soon as we finished, the light got much brighter.
