Ingleside, Texas Ghost Sightings
I currently go to Leon Taylor, and I think it's haunted. The door to class randomly shut and open, and one time one of our band trophies suddenly fell when there was no force to make it fall.|

I was about five when I lived in a house on West Main Street. I'm pretty sure it's boarded up now. But it's a white one-story house with an attic that's been upturned into room. My family moved in one day and we only stayed for three days before moving out. The first occurrences happened in the bedroom me and my baby sister shared (she was still in a crib. ) I would repeatedly see a black entity or shadow not even in the shape of a human in the corner of the room. I told my mother the room was scary, and I didn't want to stay in there. It sort of freaked her out when I told her what I saw, and she brought up with my father. My father doesn't believe any of the paranormal so he brushed it off right away. My mother however definitely believes in spirits and energies, and she noticed that the feeling she got from the house was uncomfortable.
As for the night that finally made us move out. I was sleeping that night in my bare bedroom (in the process of being unpacked) with my sister's bed and my bed. I woke up to my bed shaking, the kind of shaking from a person grabbing the metal frame and pushing and pulling. I was curious and looked under my bed to see what was happening. What I saw was a human looking figure, except it was completely black like smoke. When I looked at its face it was turned sideways towards me with only eyes. The eyes were glowing red, and this black entity started growling like a wolf. To this day I still have nightmares, and I'm running away as fast as I could to my parents with the fear of death. I then ran in crying to my mother. This wasn't the only thing though.
My parents were having their own encounter the same time as me. My mother was the first to wake up with a very uncomfortable feeling, like something was watching. She got up and was chilled. She had goose bumps, and the hairs were rising on her neck. The dog we have was running in and going crazy. She was barking and being aggressive like she never has before. My mom watched her and noticed she was running around in a pattern: first to below the attic door with the pull down steps then to the basement door. Finally she would be back to the bedroom and repeated. Naturally my mother was scared. She turned back to where my father was. He then woke up yelling and choking, saying someone was trying to kill him. He said he felt hands around his neck, and he couldn't breathe. After that was when I came into the room crying.
My mother, finally with support from my father, started packing what we got out and moved us out of there. This happened in three days. I would say this spirit is definitely angry and does not want anyone there. I did do some research, and the house was built in 1940 and is currently trying to be sold (seems quite desperately too). From the pictures it is currently boarded up.
