Irving, Texas Ghost Sightings - PAGE 17

Categories: boys, home
I live with my grandparents in a house behind Irving mall, and I have experienced many strange things. A few years ago I was talking a bath and the only people home were my 3 dogs, my younger sister, and my grandmother, who were all upstairs.
As I was bathing the door flew open and slammed shut again, though I didn't see anything do it, I assumed my dog ran into the door. That was until the door opened again and a tall solid black figure was standing there watching me and then closed it again.
A few months later my sister and I were getting ready for school and we were the only ones in this half of the house and it was raining outside. Suddenly one of those small extendable umbrellas comes flying into our bedroom hitting my sister on her arm, when we looked down that hall, an office chair sitting in the ''office'' was slightly spinning.|
In another instance, my sister, grandparents and I were all sitting in the living room and our dogs suddenly jump up and run into our kitchen and begin barking at thin air. The all seemed to be staring at the exact same place and the hair on their backs was raised.
Sometimes when only a couple of us are home, or all, we can hear footsteps walking around upstairs, though everyone (including the dogs) are downstairs. In my great grandmothers room, while she is lying in bed her lampshade will sometimes begin moving with no fan running, no air conditioning on, and no draft.
We hear many things around the house and our dogs bark for no reason many times. Our house was built in the early 70's and during remodeling things become the most active. I don't think whatever is here likes us changing their home.
