Joshua, Texas Ghost Tales | |

In the area of Walden Estates when I lived there when I was at the age of five. There was/is still an old abandoned home right next door to where my parents trailer use to be, before we moved away. Almost every night I would see this really old old man staring in my bedroom window at night. One night we had some family over playing cards while all of us kids were outside playing, this man who had been staring in my window at me came from under this old abandoned home, crawling on his hands and knees, in the tall grass. He had clothes on and the same ones I always seen him in. They are torn, wornout...looks like a hobo. I slept in the livingroom more than my own room. Till this day this story comes up in a conversation I might have, except detail for detail. It's the weirdest. Since I have found Christ, things like this don't bother me.He has my back no matter.what.I'm safe. Submitted by Belinda Phillips

walk to friend?s houses and even stay over through the night with them. Walking to and from a friends house one night we were almost to my house to get me some clothes so I could sleep over with a friend something yelled my name out, when I turned to look there was nothing there. The only thing that was there was some sort of white thing on the pavement

several, several feet behind us. We took off running and didn't stop to we got to my house. Her mom came and got us because we refused to walk back to her house. A different night while at her house, planning on staying the night again. Her mom said if I was staying over she had to clean her room. So I helped her out, and while sitting in her floor in her room going through stuff her alarm clock went off. For no reason at all. It wasn't even set to go off. Creeped us out. In her room she always had an empty plastic grocery sack hanging on her bedroom door. The same night cleaning her room it started moving. It was like something was in it except it was empty. Till this day I haven't the slightest clue. Behind her trailer where she lived is a little creek.''Rumor'' in that neighborhood back then was that a little boy was in his backyard going across this little bridge and that the wood was rotted and that he fell through and drowned. So at night there behind her house you could see a little boy in that creek. We did several times but this is

the one and only time I wasn't freaked out. The first time we seen it, it did freak us out a bit, but when we asked around and were told what ''happened ?we were fine. Also I had a cousin stay the night with me years ago when I lived in the Brushy Knob addition, on Daniels Dr. One night while up playing board games we about had the pee scared out of us. We were the only two up in the whole house, when a gunshot went off in my backyard. Seemed closer than it should have been. Middle of the night, right outside my window. We jumped up and crawled through the hallway to my moms room and I had woke her up and told her. Since mom had recently had a surgery and was on pain meds she was out of it. She told me there was noting outside and to go back and carry on. Instead we crawled back out to the hallway and into the kitchen, figured I'd take it upon myself to call the cops. Just as I got to the phone on the wall and as soon as I stood up to get it, it was like I was being watched. Somebody shined a flashlight right on me. I sat down with the phone in my hand and dialed 911.Officer stayed on the phone with me until a cop arrived. The officer that arrived was also the one who searched for a bike of mine that had been stolen. He searched the whole property and found nothing. Said he would search around his neighborhood to see if he could find or see anybody roaming. I never knew what came of that. Officer was a county officer. Submitted by Belinda Phillips
