My daughter has seen an old woman. She and my husband have seen ''ghost'' cats. She has since moved out but my husband and I have been startled by the sound of someone running down the stairs suddenly. This was so real that I grabbed my phone and ran for the back door until I realized no one was following. I thought someone had broken in upstairs. There was no one else in the house but me. The same thing has happened to my husband when he was

napping downstairs, and it woke him up from a sound sleep. He thought the same thing I did. That someone had broken in. These things have happened at

all hours of the day and night and seem to have no particular days or times.
We also have two cats that have reacted by staring up the stairs. They seemed to be following something as it ''walked by'' and even going to the stairs as if expecting someone to be coming down them. My female cat even tried to chase something black that darted past both of us in the kitchen one night. I thought it was my other cat until I saw him sound asleep on the
