I am the great great granddaughter of John Henry Kipp, Sr. And there are stories from the 1940s of the ghost of pirate in the old Kipp house on 10th between Bradford and Kipp Streets.
There is a family story that John Henry's father, Abraham came to Texas on one of Jean Lafette's ships, but I have found no proof of that. . Submitted by Karen Category: home
