There's an old cemetary by white ranch rd. off of old 83. One night when I was a Sr. in high school I was comming home from a party in harlingen . When I passed by the cemetary around 3:00 am I got this strange feeling that I wasn't alone. When I looked in the rear view mirror I saw a young girl sitting in the back of my jeep in a white dress. When I turned around there was nobody there. Needless to say I didn't sleep for awhile ,and it took me some time to get the courage to drive by there at night again.

Not everything in La Feria, Texas is as it seems; the spirit stories passed on by the local residents are enough to make anyone think again about stopping by in this town. Couches jump about, shrieks coming out of the dark. A number of local residents claim there are no phantoms, but anybody who has spent the night in La Feria, Texas knows better.
