La Marque, Texas Ghost Tales There's a ghost named Lulu in my house. my young daughter kept telling me an older lady named lulu would talk to her & ask her to do ballet for her (my daughter's a dancer). I chalked it up to her being a child & playing make believe. She kept the story up for 2 years before I met a woman working at my dr's office & recognized my address. she told me her aunt owned that house & died in what turned out to be my room. & her name?? lucille--they called her aunt LULU!!!. The ghost of an 8 foot huge person may be perceived very often at Galveston County Water Reservoir Dam at the stroke of midnight howling. The ghost of an adolescent girl has sometimes been witnessed staring down near the water at Campbell Bayou. The ghost of a lady with half her head missing is once in a while perceived by Silo Bayou trying to touch something. A lady having a machete in her head can occasionally be noticed in Galveston Island State Park quite near the ranger station shining a flash light.
