In 2006, I moved my family into an old three bedroom house in Irving, Texas. on E. 2nd, street. In or close to the historical district of Irving Texas. We moved from an apartment complex around the corner. After we moved in, we started to experience strange occurrences. Mostly at night starting around eight P.M. on thru out the night into the early morning hours. These occurrences were centered mainly around my then nine year old daughter. My brother, was living with us as well. One evening, he was in the kitchen washing dishes and came into the room and said, you know, I know I'm not going crazy but I think someone just walked from the back room past the kitchen where I was and down the hallway and in to the middle bedroom! I said really? he said yeah. So we went to have a look. We found nothing or anyone in the middle bedroom. There was about five people living there in the house at the time so we assumed maybe he might have seen someone in the house who was living there and just wasn't concentrated and thinking about it when they walked

by. Later along the time we lived there, my daughter who knew nothing about any of this as we didn't want to frighten her came running into the living room area where I was watching television and said very afraid, dad, there's a big man like a black shadow man in the hallway and he just went into my room real fast! So I jumped up thinking again someone

was in the house and went to this middle bedroom to look for someone or this man she spoke of. Nothing was there. This went on several times over about 11 months or so. After a while, I started to see things moving by themselves without help while I would be working on the computer late at night and being awake alone with everyone else sleeping. Mostly paper moving and then falling off tables or objects like toys roll across the floor and things moving I knew couldn't move by themselves. I would hear people speaking my name. I would hear people talking and then go looking making sure there were no T.V.'s on or people awake or outside, and all were still sleeping. It was a male voice at times and sometimes a female voice. I would turn to see who was calling me and there wouldn't be anyone. The whole family would be asleep. This sometimes occurred while I was sleeping as well waking me. One night My brother and I were sitting in the living room and my daughter walked in and stood in the middle of the room and was watching T.V. When all of a

sudden she stumbled forward! she then turned to me and said, hey! Why did you push me? I looked at my brother and then to her and said, I didn't push you! She said, yes you did! Then she laughed as though she thought I was playing with her, I said sweetheart, no, I didn't. I am too far away to push you. By about a month later, we were all of us seeing and hearing strange things happening night after night. It was truly getting crazy! rolls of Tape flying across the room, Different items falling off shelves screaming and yelling noises of all kinds while we were sleeping and waking us up most times. Still seeing shadows as well. My wife's friend came by and said, who is that man in you kitchen? I said what man? she said I don't know the light is off but I saw him heading to the hallway. We looked and as usual, there was not anyone around in that part of the house. When the landlord came by, I asked him, Has anyone ever said something to you about anything strange or unusual about this house? He said, no, not that he recalled. Keep in mind he said, this house was built in the 1920's or so and I bought it from the original owner who was a woman in a nursing home. She was very old. We talked a while and I told him about things happening to us and we were ready to move because it. He seemed not that surprised to me and didn't try to talk me out of it he just said Ok. He seemed to understand that this house to us was a little more than spooky. So we moved away in 2007, having only stayed there a little over a year. After we moved to the townhouse we live in now, I received a letter in the mail. This letter was from the UFO-PI people here in Irving trying to contact me. Evidently, a kind of ghost hunters outfit. They Wanted to know if we had had any strange experiences while living at this Irving address and if so would I call them, so I did. I met with them a few days later at Joe's Coffee Shop and Restaurant in Irving, Texas. They were very nice people and asked me to tell them about my families experiences at this address. so I told them all that was occurring while we were living there in that house. I might mention the way I got their letter was, they mailed the letter to our old address and it was forwarded to my new address. After I told them everything that day I said, how did you know this was happening? I did not call anyone about this and the only people who knew was my family. He then said out of the three people there I had been talking to, we got a call from a family who lived there before you that said they were having the same kinds of experiences at that house and they too have a daughter about the same age as yours and that most of the phenomenon was centered around her as well! This is why they moved too! Their daughter was very afraid! Well, I had to take a minute and let it register what these folks had just said to me. I was a bit shocked at the very least but I did now know, we were not all loosing our minds and this was not just our imaginations after all. I am now a by-God true believer that something is going on we know very little about. This convinced me forever about life and death and just maybe, there really is something to a life after death. I think now what bothers me most is, Why are they staying around? I am very intrigued to say the least. We haven't had any real experiences since we left so hopefully, it stayed there in that house whatever it might have been and I am very glad it didn't like us enough to follow. Please check this out I never knew if those people at UFO-PI did or not. I never heard back from them. I think the owner was not available. . Submitted by Dennis Category: home
