Liverpool, Texas Ghost Tales | |

|
My great grandmother told me a story once about when she was a little girl living near Liverpool on a farm in the early 1900s.? As she told it, one night after dark the family was getting ready to go to bed for the night when the dogs got worked into a frenzy. One of her brothers and the farm hands go out to investigate thinking some animal had come up, only to see that the dogs were barking at what appeared to be someone walking with a lantern through the fields.? Getting the rest of the men together they go out to confront what they thought might be a thief only for the person carrying the lantern to flee.? Getting the dogs they chased the person into a tree and yelled at that person to come down and explain themselves.? Not getting a response they decided to wait them out.? So with ten men with guns, and a dozen dogs they waited all night.? Just before dawn the light went out so they prepared themselves for the person to run, but suddenly the dogs relaxed. When the sun finally came up there was no one in the tree and no evidence of anyone

also in the graveyard in Liverpool there is a old man that walks around with a gun and wiskey bottle just as plain as day if you live in Alvin come out it is worth it. Not only in gas but in memories that you will have. If you are a resident and know the Wee Mart there is a young girl there that sits and crys with her hands on her face when you approch her she will acknowlage you and her face in not on her head. So if you are here checking out my ghost stories just say so I might cut you a brake. Submitted by lier 15
