Lubbock, Texas Ghost Tales | |

One day I went to my childhood home in the north part of lubbock . It had been vacant for a couple of months . I was going to check on it and as I stopped in front of the house in the front bedroom I saw a shadow figure looking at me threw the front window. I told my parents what I had seen and my mom told me in that same room she had also seen a shadow figure stand over her as she slept. The house has had people in and out of it for years and all past tenents have said the same thing they have seen a shadow figure. The house was built in the 40s so im sure the house has seen many different things.

to meet her well my mom and dad have both told me about the time they went to get everything in her house out that she seemed to hate my dad and would knock stuff down or push the couch or other heavy objects when lifting them out of the house well I used to say okay well they were just clumsy well when I was young I had a music box that was hers and it could only play for about 30 minutes then it would shut well whenever my mom and dad had put me to sleep the music box would play for 30 miuntes and then stop but after a little bit it would play again little strange. was when I was a little older I brought a friend to my house and we would venture every where well I found an atic in the outside garage so we decided to go in it and when we looked in side was a white
hooded character looking for something on the back wall I told my friend and he didn't belive me till he looked in and it seemed to be coming toward him as if running to get him we ran out of the garage
and to my old neighbor bobs house across the yard to tell him and he told us to put a cross and a dream catcher in the house to help us sleep.

I have personally seen
spirits in the old Pioneer Hotel in downtown Lubbock. We took a few pictures of the outside of the Hotel and it seems that with every picture the spirits got more angry. I wouldnt dare anyone to try to
go inside and last the whole night in there.

On 22nd street in a home there is a lady dressed in a red and white velvet dress that stands in a bedroom looking out the window
after midnight as if she is waiting for someone if you spot her and she knows it she will just look at you with her sad eyes and turn away. I seen the ghost myself and will give you the chills....

2810 2nd my family lived there and all 8 saw the same ghost of a liitle boy about four years old who would be seen and hide! one time my mother was alone with her five year old brother
and they fell asleep on the couch when she woke up she saw her little brother standing up she told him to come back to sleep when she did the little boy walke behind the entertainment center she told
him again and try to stand up when she put her first foot on the floor she stepped on her little brother. my uncle and she grabbed him and went to a friends house across the street.....
