When I was a child I lived on 46th Street in Lubbock, 2 different houses, the 2nd house which my brother lived in right after he was born is where this one takes place.. My mother had told me numerous of times when I was younger I would wake up crying and telling her it was an old man with one leg that smokes cigars, one day I was crying and my mom asked me to point in his direction and I did my mom didn't see him but she said leave my son alone can't you see he is terrified, after that I could sleep strange thing is that my mom asked the neighbors about what the guy that lived there before us looked like and he had one leg and smoked cigars eerie huh?.

I am here today to get some answers I am not one to believe in ghosts, evil spirits or any of that stuff. I do not want to be tracked down or anything or be bothered any more but I saw something very disturbing a few months ago while making a run from Houston to Denver I passed through Lubbock. The entrance of silent wings museum. I got out the truck to do my routine pressure check that I forgot to do at the flying j earlier down the freeway so I attempted to do it then since Amarillo was another 2 hours from here. I remember the night being bitterly cold and the freeways were empty with only the sight of a few tumble weeds, I had an overwhelmingly feeling someone was watching me. I was just about to get off my truck when something caught my eye under the bridge. The most eerie sight I ever saw. It was a man on a motor cycle cleaning his bike. I gazed at him for a few seconds as he stopped and stood up to look back at me but I could not see a face his helmet appeared empty. So I got off and ignored him and as I continued walking to check my tires I turned to see if he was there and he was still in a full stance staring at me. He was right under the bridge along a column and the amber bridge light shinned on his motor cycle and his leather jacket but I could not see a face. I got really scared so I skipped checking my tires on the other side and got in the truck when I got on the radio to dispatch local truckers of the man 2 seconds later I turned and looked again and he was gone. I swear that Harley would of made noise only a few yards from me. I just cannot rationalize this thing I haven't been able to sleep since. I keep nightmaring of this guy it has to be a ghost. He did not look human I mean he just got that dead feeling like a feeling of sadness, and anger pierced me when he stared. After he vanished I somehow got the courage to make a turn under that bridge with my bright lights but no one was there I turned on the feeder road and to my amazement it was empty as far as I could see all the way down to the next intersection I had just seen him nearly 10 seconds ago. I strongly believe that spirits visit us in search of something but I do not know...
