My sister lives in Lufkin. I don't particularly care for it and the stories I have read here confirm my feelings on the place. The whole of Lufkin makes me uncomfortable. I believe in god not in ghosts but there is something unearthly going on all over the place there. Could it be that the Lufkin/nacogdoches area is so old and woody that things that have happened there linger? Energy tends to linger and the older the place the worse it is.

I grew up on the old Houston hwy now known as Daniel Mccall when I was 12 I would ride my bike every morning down the road to my friends to catch the school bus. One morning just after daylight as I approched the creek the road went over I've seen a young girl around 8 years old with leotards on doing kart wheels back and forth across the road . Let me remind you it's about 6 30 am . As I got closer she saw me and ran to the gard rail and got behind it as I passed her she looked really scared. I peddled on past her just a little ways and looked back at her and she was gone. I thought see had fallen in the creek so I went back and looked around and under the bridge but no one was there. If anyone has seen anything in that area please contact me at cheeto46@gmail.com.
