Lumberton, Texas Ghost Tales

I live off cooks Lake Road, Sometimes after midnight I can't sleep, I sit on my swing outside, coming from the woods next to my house I hear low growling or high pitch sounds, it can't be dogs or cats, I have both and never heard anything like this. My friend and I are ghost hunters and she lives down the road a ways, they have spotted a tall man shaped figure covered in hair lurking around their garage after midnight, maybe looking for food. When he noticed he was being watched he ran through the woods toward the slough, about a half mile away, which is another place we go to look for ghost, I took this picture the last time we were there. I have also picked up a lot of orbs in my yard. My 30 year old daughter has seen a burning bush under a tree in my back yard, then seem to blow out in its place were two small fuzzy creatures running around in circles then disappeared.

I am a ghost hunter and one night we went to the tressel in Lumberton..I didn't see a apparition that night but what I did catch was a EVP..but at the same time I didn't hear it but we did catch it when we was replaying it..it got really cold around the same time on the cameras you could actually see us shivering in supposedly 90 degree weather but on the EVP ...what sounds like a male voice saying ''leave me alone'' hearing that made my spine quiver...to this day I don't like reminiscing about that EVP.

There is a house in Lumberton on Cooks Lake road that is 3 stories high. On the land back in 1833, three men were hung on the tree that now sits in the front of their home. These men had killed two young girls that had lived in a cabin near the tree. Occasionally, on moon lit nights, you can see those two girls rocking in chairs on the house's big porch and often you can see them floating slowly across the lawn to the west. One person claims they saw the three rotting corpses of the dead men swinging back

and forth on the old oak tree in front of the house. Then suddenly they would disappear and you would find just pieces of a decayed hemp noose. When you sit on the porch at night you can hear the ghost of the girls running across the decking. Sometimes it is so scary that you almost soil yourself.
