These men had killed two young girls that had lived in a cabin near the tree. Occasionally, on moon lit nights, you can see those two girls rocking in chairs on the house's big porch and often you can see them floating slowly across the lawn to the west. One person claims they saw the three rotting corpses of the dead men swinging back and forth on the old oak tree in front     of the house. Then suddenly they would disappear and you would find just pieces of a decayed hemp noose. When you sit on the porch at night you can hear the ghost of the girls running across the decking.
