Lyford, Texas Ghost Tales I've been a Lyford resident almost all my life. Back in 1987 my grandma had a massive stroke and died in the bathroom. Since then strange things started happing there. For example my first experience happened two days after her funeral went back home to play my drums we had boarded up the house, my dad decided to move too Dallas and take my grandpa with us. I went into the house to set up the drums when in the middle off summer as hot as it was in the house the room got really cold. I had that feeling that someone was staring at me in front of my face . I got chills so bad that I left what I was doing and left the house. A year after that my grandpa came back too live there again.2nd day he came back home he had his first experience. In the middle of the night can hear my grandma's wheel chair rolling back and forth in the living room and kitchen. He could also hear her cooking in the kitchen. My dad rented the house out to some people a few years after my grandpa past on. The lady of the house saw my grandma's image.
