South of where I discovered this site there are burial mounds across the creek, on the property of a woman I once dog-sat for, she informed me not to be scared if I saw any Indians while walking the dog at night, as they were only there to protect the mounds. I never     saw any but the hair on the back of my neck stood up and I certainly felt a strong presence.
