But no reaction. We leave and it stays there. We noticed there are no other cars out there other than the 3 cars we showed up in.
Well no one discussed about it until we gathered for breakfast the next morning. We were trying to think of what or who it was? I don't know if it was a homeless person but it's clothes weren't dingy so...
It did have a musky smell of gas though. That's one of the things we all described. I wonder if anyone else has experienced
this sort of thing at the viewing station?.|

Comment by Sherry: Wow !!! I saw the same thing !!! Walked in looked around saw nothing ! Then looked beside me, he was sitting in the corner with gray blanket covering him with no face !!! Ran to my truck, it followed us. Then went out in to the pasture, as if he was on guard duty walking back and forth !! Watched over an hour !! Then we heard a train coming but didn't see one, a bright light zoomed up to our windshield and went out !! We hauled butt then !!.
Comment by anonymous: I have seen him twice once around twelve or so years ago. My best friend and I were watching the lights while sitting on the railing. I had a sick feeling, so I began to look around. I threw a penny from my pocket to see how far away from the ground we were. I told my friend that I felt like we should get down. By now my spirit was in knots of fear. Something was wrong.
There was an 18-wheeler parked at the observatory, but other than that, just her and I, both petite teenagers at the time. As my heart pounded in my ears, the sky lit up with the lights, dozens of them. They began to pulse and glow extremely bright as though they were warning us. Suddenly we heard a sound behind us. We both screamed and turned to see a man in a dark hoodie with the hood over his head. He had stumbled into a trash can that was placed outside of the bathrooms. We had heard nothing before. There were no truck doors closing, no footsteps, just the thud of the trashcan.
We both laughed nervously loud, telling him he had scared us. We really became frightened when the man simply put his head down and walked rapidly toward the men's bathroom. We never saw his face. There was musk in the air as described above. Steph and I sprinted to her SUV without stopping to say a word. As she started the car and began to pull away, we saw the figure running toward us almost getting to the back of the car.
