It depends on which tale you believe, but suffice it to say, there are creepy lights that seem to respond to you. This location is said to be very haunted and the actual spot where many ghosts like to congregate to haunt the living the ghost here are said to haunt those that wear hats often pulling them off the heads of those walking by.
There is also a ghost known to pull the weaves right out of someone's head. Many times you will see the remains
of an expensive weave on the ground the poor young women that have this happen to them are usually scared for life.|
They heads are often left bloodied
and they never are the same. Many say it is the ghost of the great Marshall, Texas voodoo queen seeking her revenge on all the young women who hide their real hair.|
Many say she hates weaves unless they are made from real human hair. .

Many versions of La Llorona's origin exist. Here is a comparatively common version. Maria (la Llorona) thought she was very beautiful, so she wanted the handsomest man to marry. So she got what she wanted. Once they were married they had a boy and after that a girl. Last they had boy. Maria's husband started to work out of town for a month or so. He came to visit his children, but not his wife. He did not pay attention to her. Once Maria's husband came to visit them, but he came with a woman. He talked to his children and told them he was going to marry another woman. Maria was so mad that she got mad at her own children for no reason.
