Maud, Texas Ghost Tales


While the sun is up Maud, Texas is the same as any other US city, but there are odd things going on in this city in the moonlight hours. Ghosts are so common here; a lot of folks who live here don’t even think about it any longer. Several folks who live here argue these accounts are lies, but everyone who has a home in Maud is not alive.

The scary ghost of a Viking has from time to time been noticed on the pinnacle of Adams Hill late in the night gazing at the sight.

A scary skeleton is every so often spotted at Ashford Lake Dam around midnight looking at the panorama.

A luminous human person has supposedly been noticed on frequent instances down near Boston Chalybeate Springs very late at night gazing. In any case, it undoubtedly is a frightening ghost that any rational person would not want to meet.

The phantom of a young-looking gentleman dressed in a coat can every now and then be made out in the early morning hours before sunrise
 
    looking across Little Prairie. Lots of locals say this phantom likes startling foolhardy folks who dare to disturb the tranquility in Maud.

A decapitated gentleman was seen flashing a lamp by Anderson Creek. The onlooker ran off right after she made out the spirit. Folks here who have spotted this spirit claim this spirit enjoys scaring people
  who come searching for spirits in Maud.

The ghost of a dentist with a blood-covered uniform showed up in a Maud home. When the eye witness came into view the spirit ran off.

A lady with her head chopped off was made out becoming visible in a mirror. The arrival of the observer startled the phantom who then faded away. Local people claim that this ghost could be the spirit of a resident who passed away here in Maud before the present.
