Definitely something there. Went a few years back and even though we did not get to experience the sounds of balls bouncing or people running due to a sheriff showing up shortly after arriving the feeling of not being the only ones there is real.

That along with the sheriff being spooked off midway through the story of what happened to the people that supposedly haunt the gym after everyone heard something in the field behind the gym made us real believers of this place.

I agree with what everyone here has said of Mccaulley, Texas. It's a spooky place at night. It's like something is off and not sure what it is. I don't know why, but it's always been like that to me. I lived there many many years ago and even back. Then it was what you might call haunted or whatever the correct word would be. I went to gradeschool there and some of middle school. The school gym had this real strange feeling to it. I always felt like someone was watching me, and I had to turn to see who it was, and nothing would be there. I know that for fact. The classrooms had almost the same feeling to them as well. The kitchen and the gym to me were where I got the strongest feelings at. Lots of stories have come down through the years as to what it could be or who. The history of the town is one thing. Fires, storms, and the like have all happened there in years past and other things aswell. You be the judge. .
