Mineola, Texas Ghost Tales The house I live in now is haunted an old lady died in there a few years ago. And we hear and see her a lot of times and everything goes missing for a month but returns to us. Submitted by Rianne Category: home_lady My friend and I were playing guitar at band practice. We stopped when we heard a storm outside. We stopped playing and went outside only to find that everything was completely dry and there was no sign of rain. We decided to go back inside and continue practicing. my friend and I were playing out of 212 watt amps, when we were playing we could not hear ambulance sirens, car horns, or even the train(train tracks were less than a mile away). However that night after we went back inside we started to hear the rain again, but this time we continued playing. We played ''through the rain'' until we both heard a woman whisper and felt a touch on our shoulder. We both looked at each other and stopped playing. we then both saw a shadow run down the hall. We chased after it thinking someone playing a trick on us. We chased it       to the end of the hall where it seemed to melt through the wall. A womanly body is frequently perceived at Adkins Lake Dam after midnight looking at the view. Any which way, this ghost undoubtedly is frightening; one that you would not want to encounter in the early morning hours before sunrise. The ghost of a lady with a word carved into her cheek has been spotted on frequent instances rearranging orbs about by the water's edge at Schrivnor Lake.
