I grew up in Murchison from 1950 until 1980, and yes there were some odd things that went on but people seldom talked about it unless in private of fear they would be thought of as ''off their rocker''. Down the old back roads, late at night there are ''things'' you might see, then think to yourself, DID I ?? Having someone with you, you discover they also saw this and you were not imagining it at all. I, as others often went ''parking'' with our dates on some of these old roads, and some pretty freaky things seemed at times to happen. (not on a regular basis, just at times) I still remember where they were, and have been back but in the daytime. Interesting to say the least. If ever that way again in the dead of night, will have a cross and Bible with me just in case.
