I was born and raised in Nacogdoches, TX. My family has lived there for many years. I am sure some of you might know them. Anyway, I have had several paranormal experiences in and around Nacogdoches, TX.I lived about thirty miles outside of nac in Woden TX where I attend school. One of the houses I lived in was way down Woden Rd. We moved in when I was fifteen years old. One of the first things I noticed was a burned spot on the kitchen floor. It looked like a pot fell and burned the floor. Well, my dad and I were the only ones to ever hear anything in this house. One day we were sitting in the living room watching TV, and we heard what we thought to be, pots and pans falling. We went to the kitchen, and did not see anything. We would also hear things falling in the pantry, but when we looked we did not see anything. I had the middle bedroom, and I would always smell a very sweet scent in that room.I was never afraid of that room, I always felt comfort in there. There was also a little room added on to the back of the house. Every time I would go in that room, I felt as if I was not wanted there. There was always a foul odor in that room too. Well, I decided to do a little research. I found out that an elderly couple named may and Merrick lived there before we did. Supposedly, they both passed away in that house.I have heard that may passed out while cooking, and the pot she was using fell on the floor. (explains the burn mark). Also, Merrick would spend a lot of time in the little added room. He liked to be in there alone is what I was told.(this explains the feeling of not being wanted). One night, my friend was over, and we were sitting in the kitchen talking. There were three very distinct taps on the window. I looked to see if a tree branch was tapping the window, and I saw that there were no trees there. There was no screen on the window, and the window was not blowing. I still do not know what it was, and I will never forget it. New story: when I was about ten years old, I lived in a mobile home on Woden Rd behind the local station there. In the back bedroom, I would always hear something inside the closet. I was always to afraid to check it. One day my dad and I were outside packing the car to go to the Tyler zoo. We were talking, and then we heard a train.A train does not go through Woden anymore. It hasn't in years. That is all for this house. Hatchetman road: I think we all have a story about this infamous road in nac. The only experience I have with it is: it was my time to go to my mom's house for the weekend, and she was telling me about this road.Me being an eager kid wanted to go. So, we drove down the road, to look at the ''church''. He got to the curve where the church is and the car died. Like the other person posted, I started praying and the car started up! Then, like idiots we decided to go to a garage sell down that road.We were driving by and saw a sign on the road, and so we went down the road again. There was an older white car in front of us, and we tried to follow. Once it got to the church, it vanished! I have learned my lesson.I will never go down that road again. I also have several stories about Melrose, and a cemetery off of Woden Rd.

Lived in Steen hall in early 2000 on the tenth floor in a suite that faced the stairwell leading to the roof. Our room was constantly haunted. My roommate (a very good friend of mine) and I would wake up to find all of our food lined up on the floor from the window to the door.
You could hear a man's voice talking in our room until you opened the door. Many other things happened in ours and our sweepmates room. Scariest year there. To this day, we still talk about some of the creepy things we experienced there.
