Nordheim, Texas Ghost Tales My father was raised on a farm outside of Nordheim. He now owns this farm and about 12 yrs ago my Ex husband and I were at the farm tending to the animals. My Ex walked to the back pasture of the property as he had always done and about twenty min later he came running up the path to the truck and screamed get in the truck. I did as he asked and as we drove off I could see a look of fear in his eyes. I asked him what is wrong (screaming)? He said he was walking along the path looking for a lost calf and he hear screams of a woman and children. So he went to investigate. He never saw anyone but he heard the voice of man say ''Leave Now!'' He described the screams as if they were in pain or being tortured. I have spent a lot of time on this farm as a child and never encountered anything but I do remember my Great Grandfather spinning tales of children's screams and woman asking for help. I have sense been back to the farm many times and have never heard anything but I have always had a since of unrest for as long as I can remember.
