Custom Search Oakwood, Texas Ghost Sightings Oakwood PAGE 1   2     This happened in Oakwood Texas in the african american part of the graveyard up the Hill by the Oakwood school. I was walking my dog in the graveyard about 5pm in the summertime. My dog started looking toward the back of the cemetery. Her hackles Rose she started growling and she started backing up toward me. All the while she was turning her head as if she were watching something walk across the graveyard in front     of her. She turned from the left to the right slowly keeping her eyes on something invisible to me. Believe me I looked and listen and did not see or hear anything but my dog. There was a fresh grave with a marker that read alenza owens. He was a crippled old black man that had begged several meals and money from me and everyone else in oakwood. I found out later that his throat had been cut and his body left in a yard with pitbulls to make it look like a dog attack. No one knows who murdered him. I wonder if it was his spirit looking for a place   (continued on the next page...)
