Custom Search Old Ocean, Texas Ghost Sightings PAGE 2 Old Ocean PAGE 1   2     (...continued from the previous page) woods once at night, and I have heard sounds, ranging from low moaning to the horrible sound of hysterical laughter to a woman's sobbing.  There is also a story of a red light that can be seen near a desolate swamp far back in the denseness of the woods, but I have only heard, never seen it.    Many people have gone missing there, some were never found again.  It has been a small community since 1960, when my grandparents first     moved there and they moved away in 1999.  Since then, only a handful of people remain. .
