Pierce, Texas Ghost Tales I lived in the town of Pierce until I turned 20 years old. My family owned what us to be a small part of the Pierce Ranch. when I was about 11 years old sitting in my bed room and heard little kids play in the yard but the weird thing was I was the only kid with in five miles from are 200 acre ranch. So I went out side and saw nothing, so that day when my dad got home I told him what I heard and he told me that back in the 1930's there was a grave yard right down from are house and that their was kids bared there. So some night you can still here the kids playing in the yard of that old house. These       are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a farmer having on a hat was witnessed by Roach Reservoir Dam after midnight gazing at the water. When the eye witness showed up the ghost ran off. Residents claim that this ghost is almost certainly the stressed ghost of a resident who used to live here in   Pierce. A young girl having on a bloody wedding gown was spotted pulling a cadaver over the grass in Friendship Park late in the night. The ghost spoke of avenging an assassination. One of the folks who live here confidently says that this ghost is the tormented soul of a former Pierce resident. In any case, this is a horrible ghost that you wouldn't wish to meet after midnight.
