Pleasanton, Texas Ghost Tales We moved into town 1998 and we rented a small 2bdrm apt at the Atascosa Apts in town which is caddy corner to the local cemetary. I was about 4mos pregnant and had a 4yr old son, named Trevor. My husband left the apt at about 5am every morning and soon after Trevor would come from his bedroom and crawl into bed with me at times. Well one night I was awaken from a deep sleep by Trevor screaming in horror. He was terrified! Trembling he said, ''Mom, who are those guys?!?'' So I jump out of bed and fearlessly ran from room to room, trying to find these men to protect my child! I was like static inside as I was horrified that some one had gotten in. It was my thought, as I checked out every crevis of the house, that perhaps my husband had forgotten to lock the door. The search found me in the hall wondering what had just happened. . .holding him, I asked if he recognized them, how many were there? He continued to discribe a period soldier, describing the smallest details of his uniform, the other guy, he went on to describe a Slave, ''He was       a black man with no shirt and only like a dirty white, looked like a skirt and had a chain'' and the 3rd sent the worse chills up my spine that I'd EVER experienced.. ''He was tall and had horns and his tongue was out, long and curled''. I knew what he had seen, was not something a 4yr makes up when he had no inclination as to any of these discriptions.   I knew exactly what he had seen when he discribed them intently. He went off to school that morning. I jumped in the shower as I rushed to get out of the house as soon as possible as I was still extremely shaken by the incident. I left the bathroom door open because I was so scared.. in the shower the light switch clicked off!!! It took everythig out of me to jump out dress n run out of that apt. As I shared our experience.. found many stories and figures seen in these apts. I wonder what the land holds. We were just parked there and we saw someone walk by and he looked all white or silver. We just turned around and took off. We might go back and pass the tracks this time.
