The entire town of Quanah Texas is haunted and always has been. If you do not believe me then ask any of the older people who live there. Many people are afraid of the supernatural and are not going to mention anything about ghost unless you ask them first.

There are cases of ghosts and or demons trying to possess certain people who come to Quanah for any reason. I was told that some of the supernatural happenings in Quanah has always been caused by 'deer woman' and her jealously of human females.

Two years ago was standing on bridge looking at creek with my wife. About 2 am we heard what sounded like a thud approx. 1 mile away. (no pumpjacks or any thing in area to make noise). Two seconds later the same noise half mile away.
