My ex-husband and I were teenagers at the time and hanging around out back behind my parents house. We were about to smoke but did not get a chance because what we saw really tripped us out. My ex-husband(Richard) went to light it up when we saw a floating     flame appear diagonally about 15 feet away from us across the alley. This really was astonishing because it would appear about five seconds after a lighter was lit. Richard started clicking the lighter for fun just watch the ghostly floating flame appear. After a few minutes this really freaked us out so we got up and took off. We never saw it again but we did not look for it.
