I was the only one home on Many of those occassions. I have also heard footsteps upstairs as I am getting ready in my downstairs bathroom. Again I was the only one home. I asked my daughter where she saw the dark man and she said he stands on the step that squeaks. I only have 1 step that squeaks. I had a friend over and he and I were downstairs     watching tc and we were not speaking my son ran downstairs and asked what I needed I had not called him. My friend later told me that he had heard a deep voice of a man Call my son's name just before he had run down to ask me what I needed. To this Day these same occurrances are still going on..
