I remember it was a Friday two weeks into summer break and my parents were going out of town to visit my brother. My Friend Hector 12 at the time was turning 13 at midnight. We had planed to Camp out at his grand parents old ranch while they attended a family reunion in Mexico city. We would go Hunt some wild rabbit over night and build a Camp fire. There were plenty of Deer but at the time we were too Young     to shoot a real gun our parents would flip. I got dropped off at my friends parents House around 5pm. We walked over to the convenience store on gamble road to pick up some goodies and ammo as we called it. His grand parents ranch was about 20 minutes away. It was good walking distance. So excited to start our Camp out. Finally we were here. The smell of Green trees and wild game was in the air. I remember setting my backpack next to the barbed wire Fence that divided an elderly Man and his mentally retarded son Elroy from hector's grand parents land.
