It was located on HWY 83, between Helen Moore and Williams Road, right on the Harlingen / San Benito line. It was built probably around 1937. My family lived there for several years beginning about 1963. It was torn down about 1989. The Longhorn Cattle Company restaurant was built right next to where the house was. You can see the slab of part of the house from their dining room. Almost 50 years later stories are still circulating about that house. Ghost stories. We had our share of experiences while we lived there and understand that it was difficult for anyone to live in it. If you know a story, would you tell it to me?
