I remember once, when I was a child (I'm 26 now), I had a paranormal experience in my house. Me, my mom and my sister were sleeping in the living room for reasons I can't remember. Anyways, I had trouble sleeping so I just lay there. I look down at my chest (the covers were up to my stomach) and I see some smoke (might've been ectoplasm, now that I think about it) swirling over my chest

(imagine a funnel shape). At that same moment, I turn in the direction of the doorway and a face suddenly appeared in midair. The face belonged

to a chubby-cheeked elderly man with a beard (reminded me of Santa). As soon as I saw that face, I hid under the covers and prayed a lot. The face disappeared a few seconds later. I told my mother in the morning but she didn't believe me. I still live in the house, btw. Nothing like that has happened to me since then.
