Several folks who live here assert these accounts are not true, but the things that go on here in San Saba in the dark hours will give you a good scare.

The ghost of a chained up gentleman materialized hiding a dead body by a big rock in San Saba City Park late in the night. The phantom was gobbled up by the thin air after being distinguished. One of the local residents strongly claims that this phantom is perhaps the stressed phantom of a local resident who used to dwell here
 
    in San Saba.

The ghost of a bum was seen crying in Bannister Hollow after midnight. Being frightened by the viewers the ghost fled into the darkness.

The ghost of an old sorceress was seen shouting up on the highest spot of Chapel Hill. When spotted the spirit moved toward the watcher who then fled.

A guy with a big hole through
  his torso has often been observed attempting to utter something in Barnett Springs Creek. Nevertheless, this is an unfriendly phantom that you shouldn't go trying to locate.

A guy with the head of a devil is frequently seen down beside Barnett Springs on a dark night struggling to seize something. Some of the locals say this ghost is the tormented spirit of a long gone San Saba local resident.
