Scores of phantom sightings have been disclosed by the locals. Folks who have never stayed for a few days in this city will inform you it's all myths, but seeing is believing and if you stay an extra day here in Sarita, you may perhaps witness a phantom. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of an elderly cleaning lady was observed viewing the panorama from the top of Alto de la Cruz late in the night. Additional folks close at hand have had identical events involving a quite similar ghost. A pitch black rat that shape-shifted into a lady materialized at a pay phone       in Sarita using the telephone. This is one of those ghosts that is spotted frequently close by. The ghost of a destitute man was noticed wandering through a Sarita vicinity churchyard. The ghost did not care that there was someone else present. A bloodcurdling beast was seen shouting names of people in Padre Island National Seashore right   by the park headquarters. The arrival of the bystander scared the ghost who then vanished. No matter what, this ghost indisputably is menacing; one that is preferably not upset.
