I remember visiting on a local Windmill several years ago with a few friends. There's a story told about a young boy who was hung from the windmill for stealing. Such a horrible death can lead to a very unhappy spirit.They say if you attempt to stand at the top of the windmill the boy's spirit will appear and push you off. I can't say that anything like that ever happened to us, but what I do remember is getting the most awful feeling of being watched and knowing that we weren't welcomed. I remember laying back on the hood of my friends car looking up at the stars when all of a sudden... I heard a

creaking noise. The windmill had began to turn! Thing was the wind wasn't blowing, not even a breeze! Needless to say I haven't gone back.

usual area given that the sun shines, but some long forgotten people from former times have come back here. Dark hour is undead time here. Disbelievers don't trust in the local spirit tales, but with so many spirits in Slaton you have a relatively nice chance of catching a glimpse of one if you stay for the night here.

cadaver by a big rock in Tiger Field in the early morning hours. When spotted the ghost came near the bystander who then fled. According to the local residents, this phantom could be the soul of a resident
who passed away here in Slaton long ago.
A gentleman that transformed into a vampire has often been seen exploring Long Hollow Canyon in detail on a dark night.
A fluorescent human figure
is frequently observed reading a magazine at Lake Ransom Canyon Dam at midnight.
The phantom of a young gentleman having on a rain coat can frequently be observed in a Slaton building. If you listen
to what the people who live here argue, this ghost could be a well-known past resident of Slaton.
A beheaded guy can be distinguished repeatedly appearing in a closet mirror. Loads of people who
live here assert this ghost is the struggling soul of a long departed Slaton local.
The ghost of a nurse with a blood-splattered uniform has from time to time been witnessed before sunrise pursuing
a passing Dodge on a shady road close to Slaton. Nonetheless, it's a menacing ghost that any sound person wouldn't wish to bump into.

observed watering plants in the garden of a mobile home in Slaton. Folks here say that this ghost is that of a person who had a house here in Slaton some decades ago. In any case, it in all certainty
