Custom Search Somerville, Texas Ghost Sightings Somerville PAGE 1   2     One night when me and my mother were going to visit my grandma in Somerville we decided to take the back roads there since she lived in the country. We had just gotten done looking at Somerville Lake and took a turn by a cemetery. It was dark and I noticed something glowing in the sky. As we were trying to figure out what in the world it was my mom almost ran off the road. She quickly swerved back at the same time     I saw a Man with a hitchhiking stick and a backpack on the side of the road. I turned around to look back and saw him standing in the middle of the road with a Friendly grin on his face. To this Day I think that if I hadn't seen him or if my mom hadn't we wouldn't be here today. We would have driven into the ditch if we hadn't of swerved to avoid him. A ghost? I honestly don't know.
