One night a friend and I were coming home after eating at the truck stop in Sweetwater. As we got to the t-intersection and began to turn left, a car came out of nowhere and turned left from the right lane, opposite direction.
We quickly followed the car, thinking someone was in trouble, as they had turned from the wrong lane. We saw the tail-lights up ahead of us and, suddenly, they vanished. We began going at a pretty good clip but we never did find the car.

Have heard that there is a ghost-car that does this occasionally on this road and then simply vanishes.
