Tyler, Texas Ghost Tales

When I was at Camp Tyler on the day's of May 20th thru May 23rd,2008. Our girls from our class from Andy Woods Elementary, stayed in Lindsey Cabin. One night when we were watching a movie suddenly the girls and I heard a bucket fall. We went in the room and turned on the light. A bucket that was full of clothes was on the floor. No one was in the room at the time. On the last night my friend,Claire, was in the Handycap bathroom, alone.  There was a curtain that hung around a chair so someone could change clothes. The curtain was closed. When she was done and was about to leave, she saw a face pressed
against the curtain. She quickly opened the curtain and no one was there. Also that same night, we were in our bunks when Claire saw faces on the wall, my other friend, Abbey saw a figure in the window,
and after a while, I saw a large figure walking across the windows of the cabin. So Creepy!!! Lindsey Cabin at Camp Tyler is haunted!.

I have lived in my house for 8 years now, but there was a family before me that lived here for much longer. It was a woman and her husband, but while she lived here, her husband died in what is now our living room- but get this, my room was where he spent most of his time! It is verry strange because my door opens mysteriously and sometimes I will look in my room when the lights are off and see the shape of a body, but when I turn the
lights on, it dissapears. Also, you can hear strange music in my house that sounds classical, but if you scoot even an inch over, it fades away... But the wierdest thing is that we painted my room about a month ago, and we left it to dry. Nobody was in there, and when we came back, there were vauge handprints in the paint that looked like someone had drug their hands downward through the paint! It was very wierd, but he isn't a bad ghost... just a wonderer... I think that he wants to know where his wife went, and spends most of his time in my room because when he got sick, he couldn't go in there anymore...

A friend of mine told me that he used to walk around Lake Tyler around midnight because that is when he got off of work. One night he was walking and a car was driving from behind him. The headlights revealed than a man and a woman and their two children were walking toward him on the same road. The car passed him and he expected to see the family. He said that even though they were approaching each other that he never passed them on his walk. They just dissapeared!.

One night, it was about 7:55~8:05. Me and two friends were playing a game. I thought this was just fake. I saw a face by a tree across the street. It looked like a Civil War man. I'm hoping that we didn't disturb it, Because my friend likes to hunt birds you see? He shot one, I thought maybe the man was disturbed by the act.

I grew up in Tyler for most of my life and tho I have yet to see a ghost I have had many strange things happen to me.  Around the time right after my uncle had died. I was 8 years old I was sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast and saw the doorknob to my parents room twist and open yet no one was around. Then a few days later I was sitting outside waiting for my bus and I hearD a blood curling scream yelling my name but it was in my moms voice so I go running inside to see what had happened and my mom had no idea what I was talking about.  Also the volume knob on my sterio would turn and get louder and quietter and you could actually see the knob turn. then right after my sister was born toys in her room would start to go off on there own. I dont know if any of these things has anything to do with the ghosts of Tyler of my uncle trying to contact me all know is for an 8 year old is pretty creepy.

My parents had just purchased  some land in Bullard and had a house built on the land. One evening after they had finished moving. I had been helping them move and I had stayed over because it was getting late and I really didn't want to drive all the way back home. I kept seeing dark or shadow people just on the edge of of the property .Anyway after I had gone to bed I could swear that I was being watched. It still goes on to this very day.
