Wink, Texas Ghost Tales


Wink, Texas is an apparently typical place if the sun is up, but this is a town where the undeparted march the roads at night. Things take place here that can't be scientifically explained. Some residents declare there are no ghosts, but the undeparted may very well show themselves to you if you spend the night in Wink.

The spirit of an elderly Indian chief has often been distinguished in Wildcat Stadium around midnight attempting to grasp something. A woman who lives here asserts that this spirit loves frightening unwise people who are bold enough to disturb the tranquility in Wink.

A black cat that shifted shape into a female is frequently noticed browsing through a closet in the bedroom of a Wink building before sunrise. Either way, this ghost undeniably is frightening; one that you wouldn't want to encounter late in the night.

The ghost of a young-looking female outfitted as a maid has purportedly been observed on a few
 
    instances having a seat at the kitchen counter in a Wink residence. In any case, it's a menacing ghost that any sound person wouldn't want to come across.

The phantom of a young cowboy may often be perceived staring at people in a Wink building through a peephole.

The ghost of a gold-miner may be made out very frequently in Monahans Sandhills State Park by the park headquarters calling names.
