Zapata, Texas Ghost Tales | |

In Zapata, at the H Inn, on HWY 83. On the 3rd floor of that hotel like around midnight there is a little boy that is a spirit who runs around the 3rd floor hidding the employess keys and moving alot of the employess things but it is totally harmless.

There is a ghost inside a house on Frasno street 2 blocks down from the courthouse, and inside that house there is a teenager that is a spirit and he was caught by the little boy that lives there and he was staring at the little boy's mother and the little boy told his mother that there is someone in back of her and when she turned to look back it wasn't there no more the little boy said that the spirit had ran into one of the rooms and into the closet and it was never seen after that day on.

As a young boy growing up in Zapata I did witness a sighting. Between Zapata highway 83 and Webb countyline we witnessed a large boulder that cause my father to swerve in the southbound lane late one night. We were worried someone would hit

the boulder that covered half the southbound lane. Upon backing up to the location right at the county line the boulder was gone. Many sighting have occured at the county line. I only was present during the boulder incident but many have seen a little girl just standing on the north side of the road. When they stop and back up she is no where to be

seen. Another sighting that many people in Zapata have witnessed is when they get to the county line a person is seen sitting in the back right passanger side of the vehicle. I have heard 3 people who actually have seen the vision. We have had many accidents and deaths at the countyline, this might be the reason why.

A person could believe that there's nothing abnormal on the subject of Zapata, Texas, but not all the dwellers of this settlement are still alive. The undeceased are living in this municipality as the locals will report to you. Not everyone believes in the descriptions the locals tell, but not a hundred percent of the natives of Zapata are still alive.

A very scary ghost came into sight dispatching a container at a Zapata post office. The witness was terrified and ran away.
The ghost of an old female carrying a rifle was noticed gulping regular from a gasoline pump at a refueling station in Zapata. The spirit didn't

seem to be worried by the observers. A man who lives here alleges that this phantom is the phantom of a visitor that was killed while journeying through Zapata in the past.
