When I was 10 years old I woke up in my old house to use the restroom. I walked into the hallway and saw an African American man sitting at my kitchen table drinking coffee. I'm half black myself and this man wasn't my father.
When I approached him he spoke gently and said go back to sleep James. When I looked back before going to my room he was no longer there.
