A   man with a large hole through his upper body was observed rummaging around in the refrigerator in the kitchen of an Indian Wells apartment very late at night. The appearance of the eye witness frightened the phantom who then disappeared. According to what the folks who live here argue, this phantom is the phantom of a visitor that was murdered while passing through Indian Wells many years ago.
