Mesa, Arizona Ghost Tales - PAGE 2 The ghost of a bound up woman is once in a while spotted hiding a corpse by a big rock in Alma Ward Park in the early morning hours. A woman who lives here alleges that this ghost is the stressed soul of a long gone Mesa resident. A woman clutching her head by her arm is known to have been seen on numerous occasions in the backseat of a truck by the driver observing the ghost in his rear view mirror very late at night. One of the residents firmly argues that this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was murdered while traveling through Mesa some time ago. The phantom of a youthful woman sporting a bloody prom dress can sometimes be noticed trimming bushes in the side yard of a trailer in Mesa. A beheaded female was witnessed by a man hiking along a trail near Mesa. When observed the ghost came up to the eye witness who then ran off. The spirit of a young girl came into view seated on a sofa in a mobile home in Mesa. This particular phantom has been seen over and over again in this area. No matter what, this       phantom undeniably is bloodcurdling; one that any sane person wouldn't want to come across. A character with a skeleton face sporting shadowy robes was observed wandering from home to home on a dark night on a Mesa avenue. There have been additional tales with reference to this ghost in the neighborhood. A wandering ghost appeared facing the onlooker in Lost Dutchman State Park by the park headquarters.
