Long story short, Oatman is one of my favorite places in the world. My grandma and mom used to take me there often, and my husband and I went there the same day were wed, with my friend JD (this man saved my life) and the man who married us, who also happens to be a very dear friend of mine.
Each visit has always been thrilling. There are such unique sights to behold. If you're ever in the area, I highly suggest you
take a pit stop here, catch a gun fight, eat some Navajo tacos, and thoroughly immerse yourself. Be careful on those twisty-turny roads, though, and try
not to make a trip during the bike run!|
There are countless photo opportunities of the land which is rich with uncommon mountain formations, valleys, ravines, and there is also a carved spiral stairway of rock that leads up to a scenic overview. There was plumbing up at the top where someone (I can't remember who) made a koi and goldfish pond in the side of the mountain, but some jerk kids destroyed it. This is located outside of Oatman and it is difficult
